We have updated our Terms and Conditions with the changes of our lifestyle with COVID-19.
There are still cases of COVID-19 in England and there is a risk you could catch or pass on the virus, even once you are fully vaccinated. This means it is important that you understand and consider the risks of catching or spreading COVID-19 in all situations. If you develop COVID-19 symptoms, self-isolate immediately and get a PCR test, even if your symptoms are mild. You should self-isolate at home while you book the test and wait for the results. You must self-isolate if you test positive.

We are committed to the safety of all persons who attend our lessons and to deliver the highest standard of service.
Participating in a Ready Steady Let’s Get Messy class is entirely at your own risk without any proven negligence, breach of duty of care or lack of due diligence by Ready Steady Let’s Get Messy.

Registration forms
Please ensure you choose the correct class and fill out the online registration details correctly. If you find you would like to change classes once confirmation has been sent, we will try our best to swap the classes for you. However, please note this could be difficult, especially if the term has begun and classes are full, therefore it is not always guaranteed. PLEASE complete the Allergies and/or Dietary Requirements details as the majority of our Messy Play Activities are food based.
Attendance for Parents/Carers
On the day itself, it will be one adult per child unless it has been confirmed by myself for two to attend, on special circumstances. There will be the odd space for an extra adult but there won’t be availability for every parent/carer to attend.
Payment Methods
Payment is due via BACS or PayPal within 48 hours of booking your place. We reserve the right to pass on any charges from our payment providers.
Confirmation of place
An acknowledgment will be sent with payment details however booking confirmation will only be sent when payment is received. If you pay using the online booking system, you will receive an automated reply confirming your place.
Refunds
A course or event may be cancelled provided you inform the Ready Steady Let’s Get Messy in writing within 7 days of the course commencing. Please note there may be an administration charge of up to one-class for any changes made.
You may offer your place to a friend as a gift provided you inform Ready Steady Let’s Get Messy. This includes any COVID-19 cases in your family. Here is the guidance to follow : https://www.gov.uk/guidance/covid-19-coronavirus-restrictions-what-you-can-and-cannot-do Please do not come along to class if you have COVID-19 symptoms.
All party deposits are non-refundable.
Holidays and sickness
Regrettably we cannot offer discounts or refunds to cover your booked holidays due to the need to ensure continuity of service.
You may offer your place to a friend who also has a child to a session you know if you are unable to attend. You would need to inform your Ready Steady Lets Get Messy in this instance.
We try and coincide the holidays with the local school holidays/half terms.
Supervision and withdrawal of service
All children must be supervised at all times and not left unattended. Ready Steady Let’s Get Messy cannot be responsible for a child at any time.
Should a carer or associated visitor behave in a way that Ready Steady Let’s Get Messy feels is unreasonable then we reserve the rights to withdraw the provision of classes to the client.
Renewals
No later than two weeks before your term runs out your class leader will ask you whether you wish to renew for another term. The Class Leader will inform you of the mechanism to rebook your space and payment terms. Note however that places remain on a first come first served basis.
Cancellation of Classes
Ready Steady Let’s Get Messy will endeavour to run classes during bad weather e.g. snowy conditions. However should we need to cancel due to safety concerns, parents will be notified/contacted (please check the Ready Steady Let’s Get Messy Facebook page and make sure your phone number is are kept up to date on our register).
An additional class will be offered if we have to cancel a class or refund against a future term’s fees. Regrettably we cannot automatically offer cash refunds.
Illness
Parents are asked to keep their children at home if they have a serious infection and to inform Ready Steady Let’s Get Messy as to the nature of the infection so that other parents can be alerted.
Please keep your baby at children if he/she:
- Has a fever or has had one in the previous 24 hours
- Has had an upset stomach or diarrhoea in the previous 48 hours
- Has heavy nasal discharge
- Has discharging eyes
Has symptoms of a possible communicable diseases such as:
- Measles
- Chicken pox
- German measles
- Whooping cough
- Impetigo
- Scarlett fever
- Hand, foot and mouth disease
- Norovirus
We cannot offer a refund for a lesson missed due to illness, you may offer your place to a friend who also has a child to the session. You would need to inform Ready Steady Let’s Get Messy in this instance.

Videos, photographs and confidentiality
We love you taking pictures or videos of your children during the course provided it doesn’t interfere with the class. In addition please always be sensitive of taking pictures of others without their permission. If you are asked to stop, please do respect the rights of others.
In addition if we feel that the amount of video is excessive, not just short clips, then you may be asked to stop.
We may take photos and videos at Ready Steady Let’s Get Messy events. The images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images publicity or other purposes to help achieve our aims. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media and press releases. You may request in writing that we do not take photos and videos of your children.
Protection of Property
Please note that your property left in prams or bags is your responsibility and Ready Steady Let’s Get Messy cannot take any responsibility for the safeguarding of these items.
Health & Safety and Hygiene
Ready Steady Let’s Get Messy follows rigorous internal checks of the venue and its own equipment to ensure that they are clean and safe.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
Ready Steady Let’s Get Messy from time to time updates these T&Cs. It will inform you of changes through regular channels of communication and you have 14 days to opt out of accepting changes in writing. Failure to do so will entitle Ready Steady Let’s Get Messy to treat this agreement with you as being updated with the changes.
